Michael Young has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Manager of Claims Litigation at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation since September 2011, where responsibilities include making strategic decisions on first-party insurance claims and participating in depositions, mediations, and trials. Prior to this, Michael held a senior management position as Director of Business Development & Catastrophe Operations at Frontier Adjusters, achieving a 20% business increase. Previous roles include Financial Representative at John Hancock, Claim Manager at Cypress Insurance Group, Business/Product Analyst at Citizens Property Insurance, Examiner/CAT Supervisor at Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association, and Supervisor at Fortune Insurance Company. Michael holds a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on General Psychology from Furman University and has completed several relevant training programs in sales, leadership, and property adjusting.
