Justin Newton

Justin Newton has over 14 years of work experience starting as a Systems Administrator at Carle Foundation Hospital in 2007. From 2010 to 2014 they worked as a Lead Business Systems Analyst and later Program Manager/Product Owner at PDX, Inc. where they managed teams of product owners, business/system analysts, and developers across multiple applications. At Kaiser Permanente Newton served as Director of Data Reporting & Analytics from 2014 to 2019 where they managed over 100 data engineers, analysts, scientists, and clinical professionals engaging in concurrent software development and data analytics in an Agile environment, as well as introducing the Oz Principle culture to their team. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as Senior Vice President of Information Technology and VP of Analytics at ExactCare, a CarepathRx Company where they recruited and developed a strong team of data professionals, oversaw the implementation of solutions that supported the doubling of EBITDA, and projected expected outcomes for at-risk patients. Currently, they work as Senior Vice President of Integration at Citizens Rx since 2023.

Justin Newton obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Pensacola State College in 2003. Later, in 2006, they received an Undergraduate Certificate in Database Systems from the University of West Florida with a field of study in Information Technology. Additionally, in June 2009, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification in SQL Server 2005 from Microsoft.
