Gregory Smith, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Gregory currently serves as the Founder & CFO of CITIZN since September 2019. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at ZWILLING J.A. Henckels LLC from October 2020 to January 2023, where they led a team of approximately 30 and was responsible for various functions including FP&A, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Tax, Legal, Purchasing & Internal Audit.

Before joining ZWILLING J.A. Henckels LLC, Gregory worked at Tiffany & Co. in various roles. Gregory was the Senior Finance Director, Americas from June 2019 to October 2020, overseeing the North American FP&A function and the real estate portfolio. From November 2016 to June 2019, they held the position of Senior Finance Director, North America, where they provided leadership and support to all regional functions and retail business units. Gregory also served as the Senior Director of Integrated Business Planning from August 2015 to November 2016, focusing on establishing processes to align financial, demand, and manufacturing plans.

Gregory's experience also includes working as the Regional CFO for Emerging Markets at Tiffany & Co. from July 2011 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for establishing and leading the finance and control functions for a region that included Africa, the Middle East, India, Turkey, Russia, and CIS countries. Prior to that, they worked as the Finance Director at Fitch Design from May 2007 to June 2011, where they played a key role in setting up regional operations and integrating acquired offices.

Gregory'searlier experience includes working at Novartis as the Head of Financial Reporting from October 2005 to May 2007, where they were responsible for managing reporting requirements and implementing SAP.

Throughout their career, Gregory has demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, accounting, supply chain, and strategic initiatives. Gregory has successfully led teams, partnered with cross-functional departments, and contributed to the growth and profitability of the companies they have worked for.

Gregory Smith, CPA, obtained a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) degree from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they studied Economics at the University of Waterloo from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Gregory also holds several certifications. Gregory obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Canada in April 2014 and the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada in January 2007. Gregory recently acquired the ASX Listing Rules Compliance Course Certificate from ASX and the Certified Practising Accountant certification from CPA Australia in March 2023.
