Jose Murillo

Jose Murillo possesses extensive experience in the petroleum industry, currently serving as the COO and Vice President of Operations at Citla Energy since August 2016, where the focus includes directing Petro-Technical functions and exploring new business opportunities linked to Mexico's Energy Reform. Prior roles at Halliburton encompassed leadership positions in Project Management business development and consulting for Latin America, along with significant contributions to well engineering and drilling operations. Jose's early career involved critical roles at BP and YPFB Corporacion, where expertise in drilling engineering and project execution was developed. An academic foundation includes a Master of Business Administration in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
