Michael Tortolano

Michael Tortolano has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Michael is currently the Group CIO at CitNOW Group, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of CIO and Chief Systems Architect at CitNOW Video from 2012 to the present. Before joining CitNOW Video, Tortolano worked as a Digital Media Systems Architect at iBAHN from 2007 to 2012. From 2006 to 2012, they were the Digital Media Systems Architect and Company Director at Codevio, where they provided technology consultancy and software development services to various customers in the digital entertainment, consumer electronics, security, hospitality, and home networking sectors. Before Codevio, Tortolano held the role of CTO and Product Development Manager at Home Media Networks Limited from 2000 to 2006, where they played a crucial role in the development of the company's product line and secured contracts with major customers. Michael also worked as a Software Architect at Ion Networks from 1999 to 2000, providing software consultancy and development services. Tortolano's career began in 1991 when they worked as a Software Engineer at GEC Ferranti Defence Systems Limited, followed by roles at Concept Systems Limited, Shiva Europe Limited, and Spider Systems Limited, where they developed network management software and worked on innovative projects in the technology industry.

Michael Tortolano earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computing from the University of Aberdeen, graduating in 1991.
