Maaike Gerritsen

Maaike Gerritsen is an accomplished educator, author, and language professional with extensive experience in teaching and writing. Currently serving as a Beoordelaar for A1 and A2 speaking and writing examinations at DUO since November 2023, Maaike also operates Maaike Gerritsen Taal & Verhaal, providing tailored NT2 training for expats and newcomers. As a lecturer at De Schrijversacademie since April 2015 and a published author through Ambo|Anthos Publishers, notable works include the novels "De achterblijvers" and "De geboorte van een wees." Past roles have included content coordinator for introduction programs for status holders and lecturer in Dutch at Hogeschool Inholland. Maaike holds multiple degrees from the University of Amsterdam in Dutch language and literature.
