Melissa Hartshorn

Melissa Hartshorn is the firm's Chief People Officer and is based out of the NYC office. With over 15 years of experience in the human capital profession, Melissa has experience in building and implementing people strategies to enhance organizational culture and support the full employee life cycle. Melissa is motivated by driving outcomes that encourage the company, its leaders, and its employees to be their best. Melissa strives to keep things relevant and simple. In her role as CPO, Melissa is responsible for leading the people strategy across the organization with a focus on delivering an exemplary employee experience and ensuring that the firm is leveraging the full power of employees to meet business and growth priorities.

Melissa most recently served as the Chief People Officer for Guy Carpenter, an operating company of Marsh McLennan. Prior to that, Melissa held a number of people leadership roles across Marsh McLennan, including at Mercer and MMC Corporate.
