Austin Noto-Moniz

Austin Noto-Moniz has a diverse work experience in software engineering and testing roles. Austin is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Citrine Informatics since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Akamai Technologies as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test from October 2017 to October 2021. In this role, they developed automation to test command-line tools and implemented end-to-end test automation for internal sites and services.

Before Akamai, Austin worked at Audible, Inc. as a Software Development Engineer in Test from June 2016 to October 2017. Austin established test automation for the Audible domain on Alexa, built new frameworks, and performed a complete overhaul of an existing framework.

From 2014 to 2016, Austin worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer in Test. Austin developed and maintained test infrastructure for Firefly, added features to a web-based test case management system, and improved automation of device flashing and provisioning.

Further back, Austin worked at Rapid7 as a Software Engineer I from June 2013 to October 2014. Austin worked on the UserInsight team, building out the platform and adding customer-facing features. Austin also worked as a Test Engineering Intern at Dyn in 2012, writing Python tests and scripts for high-level test suites.

Austin started their career as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Microsoft in 2011, writing automated tests and tools for the Application Virtualization test team. Prior to that, they had a summer internship at Unum in 2010, creating internal applications focused on employee training. Austin also had a short internship at Embed.ly in the same year.
