Ryan Brown has a diverse background in law enforcement and military service. Beginning with their time in the USMC as an Infantry Unit Leader and later as a Marine Corps Recruiter, Ryan transitioned into a career in law enforcement where Ryan held various roles including Patrol Field Training Officer, SWAT Team Member, and School Resource Officer. Currently employed at Citrus County Sheriff's Office as a Special Victims Unit Detective and Deputy Sheriff, Ryan brings valuable experience and expertise to their work in protecting and serving the community.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is a full-service law enforcement agency serving Citrus County, Florida. Citrus County is located on the west-central coast of the U.S. state of Florida. Citrus County has two incorporated municipalities, the City of Crystal River and the City of Inverness, making the CCSO the only law enforcement agency in the county. The county seat is Inverness, and its largest community is Homosassa Springs. We humbly serve over 150,000 residents and the more than 530,000 people who visit our county every year.
