Anna Stern, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing and research. Anna started their career as a Post baccalaureate research fellow at The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), where they worked on behavioral experiments and conducted survival surgeries related to addiction research. Anna then pursued their PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the effects of HIV and antiretroviral therapy in the central nervous system. Anna'swork involved managing projects, experimental models, and characterizing neuropathological mechanisms. After completing their PhD, they worked as a Medical Writer at ICON plc and later took on the role of Senior Medical Writer at ICON plc (formerly Aptiv Solutions). Anna then joined The Curry Rockefeller Group, LLC as an Associate Scientific Director. Currently, Anna is working as a Freelance Medical Writer at Stern Li MedComms, LLC.

Anna Stern, PhD began their education in 2005 at Kenyon College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Neuroscience. Anna successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2009. Later, from 2011 to 2017, they attended the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience. Anna'seducation focused on neuroscience throughout both their undergraduate and doctoral years.
