Dagan Eshar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in computer vision and deep learning. Currently serving as VP of R&D at Citrusx since October 2021, Dagan previously worked as a Data Scientist and Algorithm Developer at INSPEKTO, where the focus was on autonomous visual inspection algorithms. Prior experience includes roles at Intel Corporation as Software Team Lead and Program Manager in the Perceptual Computing Group, leading projects related to depth camera technology and advanced algorithms, and as Algorithms Development & Team Leader at Omek Interactive, specializing in natural human motion interpretation. Additional software engineering experience spans several companies, including Mobileye, IDT Video Technologies, DPSI, Prosight, Eldar-Shany, and Log-On, working on projects ranging from visual algorithms for autonomous vehicles to advanced video technologies. Dagan holds two M.Sc. degrees in Computer Sciences, specialized in Image Processing and Computer Vision from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and ETH Zürich, alongside a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences and Cognitive Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
