Brian G. currently serves as the Chief Financial & Operating Officer at City Academy since October 2019, following a tenure as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at NORTH SIDE COMMUNITY SCHOOL from December 2014 to October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Finance and Operations at GCC and Management Analyst for the Village of Montgomery. Brian G. began the professional journey with an AmeriCorps assignment at Hope Worldwide and gained early experience through internships at PwC, INROADS, and Chase. Educational accomplishments include a Master's degree in Public Administration & Fiscal Administration from Northern Illinois University, an Executive Scholar designation from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Northern Illinois University, alongside a high school diploma from Jones College Prep's Academy of Finance College Prep Program.

City Academy is the only private, independent elementary school in St. Louis that provides scholarship support to 100% of our students. Located in north St. Louis, we serve 202 students age four through sixth grade. We believe that all families deserve access to affordable, high-quality education. Our 199 alumni are transforming St. Louis. As leaders in our community, alumni participate in student government and civic clubs at their secondary schools, and volunteer as mentors and tutors at City Academy. Nearly one-hundred percent of college-age alumni matriculate into college.
