Jennifer Glassmeyer, MEd., LPC, has extensive experience in mental health support and community relations. Currently serving as the Alumni Support & Community Relations Coordinator at City Academy since July 2018, Jennifer is developing a mentoring program for alumni to prepare them for their desired careers. In addition, Jennifer has worked as a Crisis Counselor at Centerstone since September 2016, providing immediate assistance to individuals in mental health crises. Prior experience includes serving as the Coordinator of Autism Services at Mers/Goodwill, where Jennifer supported individuals transitioning from high school to employment, and as a Crisis Specialist at WellSpring Resources, offering after-hours mental health services. Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, earned between 2008 and 2011.

City Academy transforms children, families, and our community through exceptional education and bold expectations that empower children to overcome barriers. City Academy is the only private, independent elementary school in St. Louis that provides scholarship support to 100% of our students. Located in north St. Louis, we serve 202 students age four through sixth grade. We believe that all families deserve access to affordable, high-quality education. Our 199 alumni are transforming St. Louis. As leaders in our community, alumni participate in student government and civic clubs at their secondary schools, and volunteer as mentors and tutors at City Academy. Nearly one-hundred percent of college-age alumni matriculate into college.
