David Allison

History Coordinator at City and County of Broomfield

David Allison has a diverse work experience in the cultural and museum industry. In 2002, they started their career at Conner Prairie where they held various roles including Interpreter, Interpretive Specialist, Junior Project Manager, and Experience Manager until 2011. David then worked as an Interpretation and Operations Coordinator at Golden History Museums from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2020, they joined the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, where they initially served as the Manager of Visitor Programs and later became the Manager of Onsite Programs. At the City and County of Broomfield, they currently hold a role in the Office of Cultural Affairs, starting in 2020.

David Allison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education from Taylor University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. David then pursued a Master of Arts degree in US History from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis from 2004 to 2010. David also attended the Seminar for Historic Administration in 2006. Later on, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Regis University between 2014 and 2016.
