Debra Baskett

Transportation Manager at City and County of Broomfield

Debra Baskett has a diverse work experience in transportation management and advocacy. Debra started their career in 1995 as a Project Manager at the City of Boulder, where they worked on federally sponsored Congestion Pricing Pilot Projects and researched the role of economic forces in congestion management. In 1998, they became the Executive Director of 36 Commuting Solutions, where they advocated for improved mobility along the US 36 corridor and addressed transportation issues. From 2005, they joined the City and County of Broomfield as a Transportation Manager, where they facilitated actions to meet the city's transportation needs, obtained federal funding for a major roadway project, and served as a liaison to important studies and projects.

Debra Baskett received their BA degree in Liberal Arts from Buffalo State University, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Debra later pursued a Masters degree in Architecture and Planning from the University of Colorado Denver, completing their studies from 1980 to 1982.
