Matt Walter

Matt Walter possesses extensive experience in legislative and policy roles, currently serving as a Legislative Aide in the Office of Rep. Diana DeGette at the U.S. House of Representatives since August 2021. Prior positions include Community + Values Graduate Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of Denver, as well as a Policy Fellow with the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Walter also demonstrated leadership as the Student Body President at the University of Denver, where responsibilities included budget management and crisis communications during COVID-19. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Political Science, both from the University of Denver.
