Rebecca Reel P.e.

Rebecca Reel P.E. currently serves as an Energy Code Plans Reviewer for the City and County of Denver, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Rebecca worked as the Smart Category Lead at WiredScore from August 2022 to September 2023, contributing to the development of the international WiredScore certification for digital connectivity in buildings. With extensive experience in smart building engineering, Rebecca led the Smart Building Engineering team at Switch Automation as Director from June 2019 to August 2022, and previously worked as a Building Performance Engineer there. Additional experience includes engineering roles at Noresco and The RMH Group, Inc., and board membership at USGBC Colorado. Educationally, Rebecca holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2006.
