Shannon Jahn

Shannon Jahn currently serves as the Director of Climate Adaptation and Community & Economic Resilience at the City and County of Denver, overseeing the Climate Action Sustainability & Resiliency Workforce Division and managing multimillion-dollar budgets to implement policies for the city’s Climate Protection Fund. Previously, Shannon held roles in workforce development, including as an Employer Services Liaison specializing in IT and Healthcare sectors and as an Interview Prep Coordinator at CareerWise Colorado. Shannon’s earlier experience includes event management and strategic planning roles at CoBiz Financial and the University of Denver, where responsibilities included organizing corporate events and overseeing the Interterm Program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Organizational and Professional Communications from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University, in addition to pursuing a Women in Leadership Certificate at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
