Zachary Ortner

Zachary Ortner, MBA, serves as a Talent Acquisition Supervisor for the City and County of Denver since March 2019, previously holding positions as Senior Recruiter and Recruiter for Parks & Recreation. In the role of Senior Recruiter, Zachary specialized in recruitment for the City Attorney's Office and Community Planning and Development agencies. Key achievements include developing strategic sourcing plans and innovative recruiting practices, as well as earning the Outstanding Performance Award for "Innovation." Prior to this, Zachary worked at the Dallas Independent School District in various capacities, managing staffing needs for multiple campuses and leading a team of staffing specialists. Zachary's experience also encompasses human resources roles at Sams Town Casino, Sabre Industries, Inc., and Starbucks, coupled with an educational background that includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on HR from LSU Shreveport.
