Mathew Chandler

Mathew Chandler is a Senior Planner with the City and County of San Francisco since July 2017, having advanced from roles as Planner and Assistant Planner. Prior experience includes serving as Land Use Planner & GIS Coordinator in Belleville, IL, where responsibilities encompassed managing meetings for various planning commissions, developing a city-wide GIS database, and processing zoning-related permits. Prior to that, Mathew worked at SUPERIOR BUILDING GROUP, overseeing the estimating division and acting as Field Coordinator, connecting office and field operations. Additional experience includes an Urban Planning Internship with the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments focusing on comprehensive planning and GIS development, as well as a Civil Engineer Internship with Jefferson County, Missouri. Mathew holds a Bachelor’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Missouri State University.
