Nigel Phillips

Nigel Phillips is an experienced Senior Investigator with a longstanding career in criminal defense investigation, holding positions at the City and County of San Francisco and the San Francisco Public Defenders Office since 1996. As a licensed Private Investigator at Phillips Investigations since 1999, Nigel provides litigation services and Sub Rosa investigations. Additionally, Nigel served as Director of the California Defense Investigators Association from 2011 to 2022. Prior to these roles, Nigel worked as a Criminal Defense Investigator for various agencies and was a director and founding member of The Alarm, contributing to music production and live performances from 1979 to 1991. Education was completed at Kelsterton College of Technology from 1977 to 1979.
