Staci Slaughter

Staci Slaughter has a distinguished career in communications and leadership spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Chief of Staff to Mayor Daniel Lurie in San Francisco since January 2025, Slaughter previously held significant roles including Senior Executive Advisor for the San Francisco Giants, where oversight of branding and marketing communications for the Mission Rock Development was a key responsibility. From January 2023 to December 2024, involvement as a board member and strategic advisor for Bay FC, an NWSL franchise, showcased commitment to women's sports. Earlier in their career, Slaughter was a board member at JMP Group LLC and had a vital role as Press Secretary in the Office of the Mayor, where mayoral communications strategy was a primary focus. Staci Slaughter earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1989.
