Derrick Wright

Derrick Wright has extensive experience in pastoral and youth ministry, currently serving as an Associate Pastor and Student Pastor at City Church since August 1998, where responsibilities include leading middle and high school ministries, marriage counseling, and training youth staff and student leaders. Prior to this role, Derrick was an Associate Pastor at Valley Christian Assembly from August 1989 to July 1998, focusing on youth ministry development and leading worship services. Derrick also served as a coach at Abundant Life Christian School from 2005 to April 2016, leading both the varsity boys basketball and girls volleyball teams. Derrick's educational background includes ongoing studies at Christian Life College and degrees from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Christ for the Nations Institute, specializing in Youth Ministry and Counseling.
