Rachel Slotnick

Rachel Slotnick is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in teaching English composition, research writing, general drawing, art studio, and art appreciation. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Tenured Instructor at Malcolm X College since January 2012, Rachel also holds positions as full-time tenure-track faculty and writing tutor at The Art Institute of Chicago since April 2015. Additionally, Rachel has contributed as an adjunct professor and faculty at various institutions, including The Art Institutes from 2013 to September 2015. Rachel Slotnick earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008-2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Art Studio from the University of California, Davis (2003-2007).
