Riki Otaki is an ocean safety officer at the City and County of Honolulu since November 2023 and a cohort member of 8STR8, an eight-week physical challenge for tech professionals. Riki has been a kayak instructor at Kailua Beach Adventures since June 2018 and served as a sales development representative at Restaurant365 from May 2022 to December 2023, where the focus was on helping restaurants thrive. Additional experience includes property management at Oishi's Property Management, accounting at Hawaii Coffee Company, and language instruction at Miyazaki English Kindergarten. Riki began the professional career as a skills trainer at Trumpet Behavioral Health and worked as an insurance sales agent at Aflac. Riki holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University.
