Paul McGrath has extensive work experience in the fire safety industry. Paul is currently a Member of the New Jersey Fire Safety Commission, Department of Community Affairs, Division of Fire Safety since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of the New Jersey Chapter Society of Fire Protection Engineers starting from 2020. Paul also has a long history with City Fire Equipment Company, where they held various roles including President from 1994 to present, Vice President from 1984 to 1994, and Service Technician from 1981 to 1984. Additionally, they served as the President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at Rockefeller University from 1979 to 1981 and as a Field Service Tech at East Orange Water Department from 1976 to 1980.
Paul McGrath attended William Paterson University of New Jersey from 1976 to 1980. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on Biology.
