Brian Argrett has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Brian started their career as the Managing Partner at Fulcrum Capital Group, where they focused on private equity investments. Later, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at First Federal Bank of California. Brian went on to hold various leadership positions at City First Bank of DC, including President & CEO. Brian also served as Chairman of City First Enterprises, a nonprofit bank holding company. Additionally, they have been a Director and Vice Chairman of the Board at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. Brian has also been involved with various organizations such as the Community Development Bankers Association and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where they served on the Community Development Advisory Board as a Presidential Appointee. Currently, they are a Member of the Board of Directors at IntraFi and Western Bankers. Throughout their career, Brian has focused on community development and increasing economic access for low-wealth communities.
Brian Argrett has a diverse education history. Brian attended the Bethesda Chevy Chase High School from 1977 to 1981. Brian then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Real Estate at the University of Virginia from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and concurrently at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, where they obtained a joint degree JD/MBA from 1985 to 1989.
