Oswaldo Acosta

Oswaldo Acosta serves as the CEO and President of City First Enterprises since February 2019, focusing on delivering capital to underserved markets through a skilled team of finance and economic development experts. Prior to this role, Acosta was the Director of Small Business & Entrepreneurship Programs at the Latino Economic Development Center, overseeing a team of over 20 in lending and consulting operations from July 2015 to February 2019. Acosta also held positions in commercial lending at Self-Help, founded PF Co. to market agricultural products to Hispanic and Asian consumer markets, and worked as an Economics Consultant at Stone & Webster Co. across various sectors. Additionally, Acosta advised on gubernatorial campaigns and conducted research assignments for privatization projects in international settings. Acosta holds degrees from The London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Essex, and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
