Melanie Masin-Moyer is an experienced mental health professional and educator with a focus on outpatient therapy and trauma care. Currently serving as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Thomas Jefferson Health since May 2022, Melanie also teaches Pilates at City Fitness. Previously held academic positions include Senior Lecturer, DSW Assistant Director, and Full-Time Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, along with adjunct roles at Marywood University and the University of Pennsylvania's MSW program. Melanie's extensive clinical experience includes roles as an Outpatient Therapist at Catholic Clinical Consultants and as a Mental Health Therapist/Clinical Social Worker at Penn Foundation, where significant work involved facilitating women's trauma groups. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Social Work from Marywood University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
