Kevin Shafer

Kevin Shafer has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Kevin started their career as a Teacher at Bridgeport Public Schools in 2008. Kevin then joined Teach For America in 2010, where they served as a Program Director and later as a School Director. In 2012, Kevin became the Deputy Chief Of Staff at Bridgeport Public Schools. Kevin then moved on to the Camden City School District in 2013, where they held the position of Chief Innovation Officer until 2018. Since 2018, Kevin has been working at City Fund, starting as a Partner and currently serving as the President.

Kevin Shafer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Wake Forest University in the years 2004 to 2008.
