Kristen Forbriger has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Kristen currently holds the role of Director of Communications at The City Fund since July 2020. Before that, they served as the Vice President of External Relations at the National Association of Charter School Authorizers from June 2016 to June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the Philadelphia School Partnership as the Director of Public Affairs from January 2015 to May 2016, and as the Manager of Communications and Public Affairs from March 2012 to December 2014. Kristen also has experience working at the YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School as a Communications & Development Associate from May 2009 to March 2012. Additionally, they have worked as an Organizer at Grassroots Campaigns from May 2008 to May 2009, as an Account Executive at Gregory FCA from November 2005 to May 2008, as a Marketing Intern at The Wellness Community of Philadelphia from August 2004 to December 2004, and as an Intern at Devine & Powers from June 2004 to August 2004.
Kristen Forbriger completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Villanova University from 2001 to 2005. Kristen then pursued a Master of Public Administration at the Fels Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in nonprofit management from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their college education, Kristen attended Bexley High School from 1997 to 2001.
