Leilani Matāsaua Pimentel

Leilani Matāsaua Pimentel has extensive work experience in development and fundraising roles. Leilani Matāsaua is currently the Director of Development at City Fund, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at APIA Scholars, where they held multiple positions including Senior Director of Development, Director of Development, Director of External Relations, and Director of Communications & Strategic Initiatives. During their time at APIA Scholars, Leilani led and built a new development team, implemented successful fundraising strategies, and secured significant funding through various initiatives. Before that, they served as a Press Secretary and Legislative and Press Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Additionally, they worked as a Community Liaison at Jumpstart and as a Research Assistant at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Leilani's diverse experience showcases their expertise in development, communications, and strategic initiatives.
