Tabitha Harrell Ed.d

Tabitha Harrell Ed.D is an experienced educator currently serving as a Leader in Residence and Reading Specialist at City Garden Montessori School since August 2022. Previously, Tabitha held roles as a Reading Specialist and Elementary Educator at an Independent School from 2021 to November 2022, and as a 3rd grade teacher in the Jennings School District from June 2016 to March 2020. Additional experience includes teaching 1st grade in the Riverview Garden School District, kindergarten and 1st grade at Confluence Academy, and kindergarten at ASA Christian Academy. Tabitha is also a former business owner of Close To Home Childcare LLC, where responsibilities included developing educational programs and managing operations. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Maryville University of Saint Louis, an Educational Specialist degree, and a Master of Education with an emphasis in Reading from Lindenwood University. Certifications as a reading specialist for K-12 further enhance Tabitha's expertise in literacy education.
