John Williams has had a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. John started their career at Centrica in 1996, where they gained experience as a Team Manager, Call Centre Manager, and Business Analyst. In 2002, they joined British Gas Business as the Head of Acquisition Marketing, a role they held until 2010. John then moved to London Business School, where they served as the Head of Digital and CRM, responsible for implementing CRM strategies and managing digital projects. In 2015, they joined ILM as the Director of Digital Strategy, Marketing, and Research before moving to their current role as the Global Marketing Director at City & Guilds Group in December 2017. Throughout their career, John has consistently demonstrated their expertise in marketing technology, digital strategy, and CRM.

John Williams completed their BA degree in English at Bangor University from 1991 to 1994. John then pursued a post-graduate diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing at The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing in 2005 and 2006. In 2013, they attended the London Business School for an Accelerated Development Programme, where they focused on furthering their professional growth.
