Matthew Hunt

Matthew Hunt's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Matthew began their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Blake Lapthorn in 2006. Matthew then worked as a Solicitor at Shoosmiths from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Clarke Willmott LLP as a Solicitor.

From 2011 to 2012, Matthew worked as a Commercial Manager at Thales Training & Simulation Limited. Matthew then moved to L-3 Communications Link Simulation & Training Uk Limited, where they served as a Commercial Manager from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Matthew joined AXELOS Global Best Practice as the Head of Commercial & Legal. Matthew later held the position of Legal & Operations Director from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at AXELOS.

Most recently, Matthew worked at Smarter Technologies Group Limited in 2022 as the General Counsel. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Commercial Operations at City & Guilds, starting in May 2023.

Matthew Hunt attended the University of Portsmouth from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree. Their field of study was Law & European Studies.
