Shweta Karikehalli

Shweta Karikehalli is an experienced professional in institutional partnerships and grant writing, currently serving as the Institutional Partnerships Manager at City Harvest since April 2024. Previously, Shweta held roles at the Mission Society of New York City, where responsibilities included writing grant proposals and reports, cultivating relationships with foundations, and managing a grants calendar as an Institutional Giving Manager and Associate. Shweta's background also includes reporting for Fund Intelligence and The Daily Star, as well as experience in editorial roles and environmental journalism. Shweta holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
