Natasha Salgado

Natasha Salgado currently serves as the Vice-President of Programs & Strategic Initiatives and previously held the role of Director of Economic Development and Business Improvement Operations at City Heights Community Development since August 2023. In addition, Salgado is the Small Business Advisory Board Vice-Chair, nominated by Mayor Todd Gloria, advocating for economic equity for BIPOC small businesses within the City of San Diego. Serving as the Co-Chair for the City of San Diego Promise Zone Economic Activities, Salgado focuses on enhancing community-driven investment and support. Previous experience includes Director of Economic Development at Logan Heights Community Development Corporation and various impactful roles emphasizing socio-economic justice for BIPOC communities. Salgado's leadership has been recognized through a fellowship with the Rockwood Leadership Institute and academic accomplishments that include a current Master of Business Administration at Western Governors University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego.
