Meena Anand is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and human resources across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the City HR Association and CEO and Founder of The Careers Company, Anand is dedicated to enhancing career success for diverse employee groups. Additional roles include Founding Trustee at Hyfa Foundation, Non-Executive Director at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Origin Housing, and Board Trustee at Community Schools Trust. Previous positions at Standard Chartered Bank included Managing Director and Head HR, with a notable career at Barclays and UBS. Meena Anand holds a Postgraduate Degree in Career Coaching from Birkbeck, University of London, and an MSc. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

The City HR Association was founded in 1973 as the professional body for HR in organisations and sectors that support the City of London. Our Mission is to act as the voice, a technical resource and providing thought leadership in the City and financial services community. We support our members through lobbying and representation on people issues, contributing to the national HR agenda on generic issues, dedicating specialist resource to people matters which affect the City and financial services. We do this through market-wide collaboration, commenting on and distributing latest government, legal and regulatory mandates and providing thought leadership. Above all we facilitate first class networking through knowledge-sharing activities and special interest groups across all HR disciplines.
