Emma Maidment

Emma Maidment has over 10 years of experience in the field of human resources. Their most recent role was as Head of HR at City Lit, a position they have held since July 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Business Partner at London Business School for four years. Before joining London Business School, Emma worked as a People Partner-Warehouse at Aurora Fashions Ltd for one year. Emma also has experience as an HR Business Partner and HR Advisor at GTA, an HR Officer at Greggs PLC, an HR Advisor at Superdrug, and an HR Administrator at Tesco Stores Ltd.

Emma Maidment earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a 2:1 honors from Loughborough University from 2002 to 2005. Emma later obtained a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management, with a Distinction, from the University of Hertfordshire between 2007 and 2009. Their studies at both institutions led their to specialize in human resource management, with the latter degree being accredited by the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).
