Robert Hanna has extensive experience in municipal management, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Abilene, Texas since May 2015. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of City Manager for the City of Denison from March 2011 to May 2015 and served as Assistant City Manager for the City of Weatherford, Texas from July 2008 to March 2011. Additionally, Robert was City Administrator for the City of Hudson Oaks from October 2005 to July 2008 and worked as Airport Operations Manager and Management Assistant for the City of Denton between 2001 and 2005. Robert holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a focus in Sociology, History, and Political Science from the same institution.
