Joad Clement

Joad Clement, CEM, is a skilled energy management professional with extensive experience in municipal energy advisory roles and sustainability consulting. Currently serving as the Municipal Energy Advisor for the City of Airdrie, Joad focuses on implementing energy and water-saving projects while developing strategic energy management plans. Previous roles include Municipal Energy Officer for the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87, where Joad led energy conservation initiatives, and Energy Engineer & Auditor at the Vital Group of Companies, providing energy auditing services in compliance with industry standards. In addition to these roles, Joad has a strong background in Nordic skiing instruction, having taught over 200 lessons and coordinated adult ski programs. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics & Mathematics, along with an Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Energy Management, Joad combines technical expertise with a commitment to promoting energy efficiency and sustainability across various sectors.
