Lucas Bladen

Lucas Bladen currently serves as Parks Lead for the City of Airdrie, overseeing the operational aspects of parks within the assigned zone and managing a team of summer staff. Previously held positions include Parks Irrigation Lead, where responsibilities included maintaining irrigation systems, and Horticulture Apprentice for the City of Calgary, focusing on horticultural maintenance and natural area work while completing Red Seal training. Additionally, Lucas has experience as an Arena & Athletic Park Worker for the City of Calgary and as Owner and Horticultural Technician at Unity Horticulture, specializing in residential naturalization projects. Lucas has a robust educational background in Landscape Horticulture from Olds College of Agriculture & Technology and has held various roles in recreation and instruction, including skating and hockey coaching, as well as ice maintenance.
