Jessica Smith

Jessica Smith, MPA, currently serves as a Project Manager for the City of Albany, New York, since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, where Jessica managed a team of 16, significantly improved operational efficiency, and developed policies for the Auto Theft Prevention Program. Jessica's work as an Excelsior Service Fellow involved critical procurement tasks during the COVID-19 pandemic for the New York State Executive Chamber. Additional experience includes healthcare compliance research at the New York State Department of Health and an internship at the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Rockefeller College, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Delhi, and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Schenectady County Community College.
