Jeff Maloney holds an extensive record of public service and legal expertise. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Governors at the Japanese American National Museum since May 2023, Maloney has been the Mayor and a Councilmember for the City of Alhambra since December 2016. Additionally, Maloney is an Executive Board Member of both the Clean Power Alliance and the Go For Broke National Education Center, roles held since 2018 and January 2014, respectively. With a legal background as Chief Staff Counsel for the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and Chief Staff Counsel/Staff Counsel for the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority since 2004, Maloney combines robust governance with legal acumen. Maloney earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from UC San Diego.
