Julia Garcia is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in sustainable transportation and community service. Located in Los Angeles County, Alhambra is the “Gateway to the San Gabriel Valley.” It is bordered to the north by South Pasadena and San Marino, to the east by San Gabriel, to the south by Monterey Park and to the west by Los Angeles. The City of Alhambra was incorporated in 1903 and chartered in 1915 with a Council-City Manager form of government.
