Jason Cooley

Jason Cooley, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various roles within local government organizations. Jason is currently the Executive Director of the Allen Community Development Corporation at the City of Allen since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Frisco from 2015 to 2023, where they held several positions including Chief Innovation Officer, Manager Strategic Services, Acting Director- Parks and Recreation, and Strategic Services Manager. Before joining the City of Frisco, they were the Senior Vice President at Strategic Government Resources from 2014 to 2015. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at the City of McKinney as the Innovation Director and later as the Strategic Planning and Budget Director, Interim Finance Director/Budget Director, and Strategic Services Manager (Internal Audit). Jason also worked at the Town of Addison as the Strategic Services Manager from 2008 to 2010 and at the City of Arlington as the Organizational Effectiveness Coordinator from 2006 to 2008.

Starting in 1996 and ending in 2000, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from The University of Southern Mississippi.
