Marisa Batista

Marisa Batista currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Amesbury, a position held since February 2022. Previous experience includes the role of Finance Director/Town Accountant for the Town of Hamilton, Massachusetts, from December 2016 to March 2021, and Assistant Comptroller for the Town of Winchester, Massachusetts, in 2016. Prior to these positions, Marisa held the role of Assistant City Auditor at the City of Medford, Massachusetts, and served as Engagement Director at CLA following the merger with Sullivan, Rogers & Company, LLC. Marisa's career began at Powers & Sullivan LLC as an Audit Associate. Marisa Batista holds an MBA from Plymouth State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Salem State University.
