Julia O'Brien

Julia O'Brien, HMCC, CTA, currently serves as the Senior Booking & Contracts Coordinator at the Anaheim Convention Center, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Julia accumulated extensive experience at Visit Anaheim from September 2008 to November 2022, progressing through various titles including Convention Sales Director for both the Southern and Eastern Regions, Director of Meeting Sales for the Western Region, and Sales Manager. Julia also contributed as the Vice President of Membership for MPI Orange County from June 2013 to June 2015 and completed an internship as a Sales Assistant at The Pebble Beach Company in 2008. Earlier career experience includes working as a Front Desk/Reservation Agent at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, Inc. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with a focus on Tourism Planning & Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2008.
