Vinh Tran

Vinh Tran, PE, LEED AP, is a seasoned electrical engineer currently serving as the Principal Electrical Engineer for the City of Anaheim since April 2014, with previous roles including Senior Electrical Engineer and Associate Power Engineer. Vinh has extensive experience in preparing plans, designs, cost estimates, schedules, and specifications for multiple Overhead to Underground Conversion (Rule 20) Projects, having previously managed similar projects as an Electric Systems Designer at City of Anaheim Public Utilities from 2008 to 2014. Prior to this, Vinh contributed as a Design Engineer at Jacobs Engineering and Tetra Tech, Inc., focusing on power distribution projects for various facilities, and began a career as a Tutor at the City of Santa Ana Public Library. Vinh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
