Joel Guild

Joel Guild is an experienced Environmental Lab Analyst at the City of Ann Arbor since January 2018, where analytical work is performed in compliance with drinking water and wastewater treatment regulations in Michigan. Prior to this role, Joel served as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at NSF International, contributing to water analysis in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and managing laboratory samples and processing. Additional experience includes positions as a General Merchandise Clerk at Meijer, focusing on customer service and inventory management, and as a Naturalist and Adventure Tour Guide at Mackinac State Historic Parks, educating tourists about northern Michigan's nature. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Adrian College, earned in 2015.
